SAN FRANCISCO FALL FOG
San Francisco is a city I am visiting about every two months since a couple of years. If I am generally lucky with the weather, the fog, this time was pretty incredible. I went to Marin Headlands (on the northwest side of the bridge) to take this shot. What I like about it is that you can clearly guess the movement of the fog surrounding the bridge. At the same time, downtown San Francisco is partially visible. At certain times, it was also inspiring to only see the top of the bridge.
Like every time I am travelling, I like to try new places and it could be new restaurants, bars, hotels, etc. I only stayed about 48 hours in San Francisco this week and spent my first diner in the financial district, at Leo's Oyster Bar. I took oysters (well...duh) and a chocolate mousse. The plate display, the decoration and the general atmosphere are pretty amazing there.
Travelling in Northern California at the beginning of the week was a great way to get away from the 3 digits heatwave hitting Los Angeles. It was also a great time to catch up with friends.
Until next time SF!
