24 HOURS IN SEATTLE
I travel to Seattle for work since almost five years now. If I am used to the large hotel chains, I wanted to try the ACE Hotel for a while. Just for the experience, just because I am familiar with the rooftop downtown Los Angeles and the hotel in Palm Springs. Created in 1999, this is also the first ACE Hotel.
I was not expecting too much and, if the room was pretty standard, I still enjoyed my stay there and the "ACE Experience".
If I do like to discover new places when I am travelling, I also really enjoyed to spend some times in few familiar spots that I am experimenting since years. That is the case for this Spanish restaurant, Terra Plata. Located in Capitol Hill, my favorite Seattle's neighborhood, it is also adjacent to the Starbucks Reserve Roastery. This unique place (well, not so unique soon as Starbucks is bringing the same concept in New York City and Shanghai) is offering a nice cafe-concept in a tasting room environment.
Also, I'll start to believe soon that the bad weather in Seattle is a myth. Look at this blue sky! See you in 2017, Pacific Northwest!
